Project Outline
Following a period of rapid growth, Quantum Science Ltd decided to relocate their laboratory to improve efficiencies in the working environment with the scope to grow in the future. At Techspace One in Daresbury, the newly built premises offered a blank canvas to design and install a purpose-built laboratory bespoke to their needs within a ten-week project timescale.
Scope of works:
- Supply and install five Nitrogen 5.0 Purity single bottle distribution manifolds with safety relief systems, bottle support, high-pressure flexible hoses and two 0-2 bar regulators, two 0-4 bar regulators and a 0-10 Bar regulator.
- Extend the 15mm degreased copper pipework supply from the new gas manifolds to the required locations within the laboratory with the necessary regulators needed by the end user.
- Supply and install a new powder-coated gas bottle cage.
Extend the existing site Nitrogen supply to the required position. - Supply and install a new Nitrogen manifold with three 0-2Bar 5.0 Purity Lab Master LGB5000 Series outlet point regulators and one 0-4Bar 5.0 Purity Lab Master LGB5000 Series outlet point regulator.
- Extend the existing site Compressed Air supply to the required point and supply and install a new Compressed Air outlet regulator with 60-80 PSI.
- On completing the work, a written scheme of examination and test certificates shall be provided for each of the four new gas systems.
